Real charging remains disabled until VyuMee's payment launch gates are complete. Publishing this policy does not activate subscriptions or payment collection.
1. Scope
This Policy explains the rules VyuMee applies to recurring creator subscriptions and other paid digital creator purchases once the relevant payment capability is enabled. It forms part of VyuMee's contractual framework together with the Terms of Service, Creator Agreement, Contract Between Fan and Creator, and Payments, Creator Earnings, Payouts & Chargebacks Policy.
2. Before a purchase
Before a paid purchase is confirmed, VyuMee will present the material transaction information available for that channel, including price and currency, whether the purchase is recurring, the relevant billing period, the creator or offering, and any material access limitation known to VyuMee. Apple or Google may also control store-specific checkout, tax, billing, cancellation and refund information.
3. Recurring creator subscriptions
A recurring creator subscription provides the access described at checkout for the paid subscription period and may renew at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled or otherwise ended. A subscription does not guarantee a particular quantity or frequency of creator content unless the specific offering expressly says so.
4. Renewal and price changes
The applicable recurring price will be shown before subscribing. Material price changes will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the payment channel's rules, including any required notice, renewed consent or re-authorisation. VyuMee will adapt its notices and cancellation controls before any future UK statutory subscription-contract requirements become applicable to VyuMee.
5. Cancelling
Customers may cancel an eligible recurring subscription through the management route for the payment channel. Apple and Google subscriptions are normally managed through the relevant store; live web subscriptions will have a web cancellation route. Unless law, store rules or a refund decision requires otherwise, cancellation stops future renewal and access ordinarily continues to the end of the paid period.
Deleting a VyuMee account is not a substitute for cancelling a store-managed subscription.
6. Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the transaction, mandatory consumer rights, payment channel and applicable provider/store rules. VyuMee may approve or facilitate a refund where appropriate, including non-supply, material mismatch, duplicate charging or charging error. A change of mind does not automatically create a refund right for every digital purchase. Nothing in this Policy removes mandatory statutory rights.
Where Apple or Google is the merchant or refund decision-maker, the customer may need to use that store's refund process.
7. Effect of refunds and reversals
A full refund, reversal or valid revocation may remove the related entitlement or subscription access. VyuMee's accounting model reverses the associated VyuMee platform fee proportionally to the reversed transaction base. Provider/store fees and other adjustments are accounted for separately without rewriting the original transaction snapshot.
8. Chargebacks and disputes
A chargeback is not the same as a VyuMee refund. VyuMee may suspend or revoke the affected paid entitlement while a payment reversal is resolved where reasonably necessary. Fraudulent dispute abuse may lead to restrictions without affecting legitimate consumer rights.
9. Moderation and service restrictions
If paid content is removed for safety, illegality, rights infringement or policy enforcement, VyuMee will assess the resulting access/refund issue in context. Where a paid service cannot lawfully or practically continue, future renewal may be ended and an appropriate refund, credit or access action may be taken according to the circumstances and payment channel.
10. Failed payments and grace periods
A failed renewal may enter a provider-supported retry or grace state. Access depends on the authoritative subscription state received from the store or payment provider. An unverified client-side success message is not proof of payment.
11. Transaction confirmations
For authoritative settled transactions, VyuMee maintains a durable transaction-confirmation record linked to verified provider/store evidence and the immutable transaction-economics snapshot. A VyuMee confirmation may be provided in addition to a provider or store receipt and does not replace a tax invoice where another party is responsible for issuing it.
12. Payment-channel priority and consumer rights
Provider/store operational rules may control settlement timing, cancellation mechanics, refunds, tax handling and payment evidence. VyuMee's terms apply only to the extent they do not conflict with mandatory law or binding store/provider requirements. Nothing excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
