1. What these Guidelines are

VyuMee is built around creators, fans and genuine community interaction. These Community Guidelines explain the behaviour we expect when people participate in VyuMee.

They sit alongside the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content Policy (AUP). The AUP contains VyuMee's hard prohibitions and safety/content boundaries. These Guidelines do not replace or weaken those rules.

If these Guidelines and the AUP appear to conflict, the stricter applicable rule and the AUP take priority.

2. Be genuine

Use VyuMee as yourself, as a genuine creator identity, or as an account you are authorised to represent.

Do not deliberately mislead people about who you are, who you represent, your relationship with another person or organisation, your verification status, creator status, Founder status, or what a paid interaction will provide.

Parody, fan and commentary accounts may be permitted where they are not materially deceptive and comply with the AUP.

3. Treat people with respect

Disagreement, criticism, satire and robust discussion can be part of an online community. Personal abuse does not have to be.

Do not use VyuMee to threaten, stalk, intimidate, sexually harass, repeatedly target, humiliate or coordinate abuse against another person. Do not encourage others to swarm, dogpile or harass someone, and do not continue unwanted contact after a person has clearly asked you to stop or has used blocking or restriction tools.

Criticise ideas, content and public conduct without turning disagreement into targeted abuse.

4. Respect boundaries and consent

A follow, subscription, purchase, tip, message or prior interaction does not create an entitlement to somebody's attention, personal information, sexual content or continued contact.

Respect clear boundaries in direct messages, comments and creator interactions. Consent must be specific to the activity involved. Permission to create, receive or privately share material is not automatically permission to publish, redistribute, sell or alter it.

Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes without valid consent, coercion, sextortion, cyberflashing and other prohibited sexual conduct are governed by the AUP and are not allowed.

5. Protect privacy

Do not publish or use another person's highly sensitive private information to expose them to harm, fraud, stalking or harassment.

Think carefully before sharing addresses, live location, private contact details, identity documents, financial details, private medical information or private communications. If content includes another person, consider whether you have the rights and permissions needed to share it.

6. Keep children safe

VyuMee has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Never sexualise a person under 18, request or share child sexual abuse material, groom a child, arrange sexual activity involving a child, or use synthetic/altered media to sexualise a child.

Age rules for accounts and particular features are set by VyuMee's Terms and feature-specific controls. Users must not bypass or help others bypass age or identity safeguards.

If you encounter material that may involve child sexual exploitation or abuse, do not redistribute it. Use the available reporting route or contact VyuMee support so it can be handled safely.

7. Use messages responsibly

Direct messages are part of VyuMee's community and the same behavioural rules apply there.

Do not use DMs for harassment, threats, scams, unsolicited explicit material, repeated unwanted contact, grooming, prohibited sales, credential theft or attempts to move prohibited conduct off-platform. Private or paid communication is not exempt from VyuMee's rules.

8. Creators and fans

Creators should describe paid or gated offerings accurately and should not pressure fans into transactions through deception, threats or manipulation.

Fans should respect creator boundaries and should not assume that payment purchases personal access, control over a creator, off-platform contact, sexual access, or rights to redistribute creator content.

Where paid features are enabled, transaction-specific rules, creator terms and payment policies may apply in addition to these Guidelines.

9. Respect content ownership

Share content you created or have the right to use. Do not deliberately repost, sell or distribute another person's protected content without permission or another lawful basis.

Crediting the original creator does not by itself give permission to use protected material. Copyright and other intellectual-property complaints will be handled through VyuMee's applicable IP process when that workflow is operational.

10. Do not manipulate the community

Do not use fake accounts, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, bots, deceptive engagement schemes or fraudulent transactions to manipulate followers, likes, rankings, recommendations, reports, creator tiers, Founder status or programme eligibility.

Do not organise false or malicious reporting campaigns against another user or creator. Good-faith promotion and genuine collaboration are welcome; artificial manipulation is not.

11. Use AI and altered media responsibly

AI-generated, synthetic and altered media is subject to the same rules as other content.

Do not use AI or editing tools to impersonate someone for fraud, create non-consensual sexual depictions, sexualise children, fabricate age/identity/consent evidence, manufacture threats or abuse, or bypass moderation.

Where context could reasonably mislead people about whether a realistic depiction is authentic, VyuMee may require additional context, labelling or review.

12. Discuss difficult subjects responsibly

People may discuss difficult experiences, current events, mental health, recovery, sexuality, crime, violence and other sensitive subjects where the content is lawful and otherwise permitted.

Context matters. Educational, documentary, journalistic, artistic, prevention, recovery or support content may be treated differently from content that promotes, facilitates or glorifies prohibited harm.

Do not encourage, pressure or instruct people to engage in suicide or serious self-harm. Supportive discussion and recovery-oriented conversation are welcome.

13. Adult content and STORE boundaries

VyuMee's adult/explicit functionality is disabled during the current pre-launch period.

If VyuMee later enables lawful adult content, it will be a WEB-only capability governed by separate age-assurance, performer-verification, consent, moderation and payment controls.

Pornographic or sexually explicit content classified as WEB_ONLY_ADULT must not be posted to, delivered through, previewed in, promoted through or routed into VyuMee's iOS/Android STORE clients. The existence of a creator or fan relationship does not override this boundary.

14. Reporting, blocking and support

Use VyuMee's reporting and blocking tools when they are available. These tools are there to help users control interactions and alert VyuMee to content or conduct that may breach platform rules.

During pre-launch, concerns can be sent to support@vyumee.co.uk. Formal legal notices can be sent to legal@vyumee.co.uk.

Do not knowingly submit false, malicious or retaliatory reports. If somebody is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service rather than relying only on an in-app report.

Dedicated reporting, blocking, complaints and appeals workflows will be completed before the corresponding public platform features are launched.

15. How VyuMee may respond

VyuMee may use automated systems, human review and reports from users or third parties to identify possible rule violations.

Depending on severity, context, history and legal obligations, VyuMee may take actions including blocking publication, reducing or restricting functionality, removing content, requiring verification, warning users, limiting contact, suspending accounts or terminating access.

A serious single incident may justify immediate action. Repeated lower-severity behaviour may lead to escalating enforcement. Where appropriate and legally permitted, VyuMee will provide reasons and access to any applicable complaint or appeal route.

16. Context and proportionate decisions

VyuMee does not treat every difficult word, image or discussion as equivalent.

When appropriate, moderation may consider factors such as context, intent, target, credible risk, severity, repetition, audience, whether consent exists, whether the content is documentary or educational, and whether the conduct forms part of a wider pattern.

Context does not make illegal or expressly prohibited conduct acceptable.

17. Changes to these Guidelines

VyuMee may update these Guidelines as the Service, community, law, safety obligations or platform features develop.

The current version, effective date and canonical URL will be published here. Where a future change creates or materially alters a binding user obligation, VyuMee may update the relevant Terms or AUP and require affirmative acceptance where appropriate.
