1. Purpose and status
This Policy sets the minimum rules for using VyuMee. It applies alongside the Terms of Service and any more specific operative creator, payment, safety or adult-content policy. It applies to users, creators, accounts, content and conduct across VyuMee.
Where VyuMee asks for affirmative acceptance, the accepted version may be recorded in VyuMee's legal-acceptance evidence.
2. Where the rules apply
The rules apply to profiles, usernames, posts, captions, comments, images, video, audio, direct messages, creator campaigns, links, metadata, reports, support requests, creator applications, monetisation features if enabled, use of VyuMee systems/APIs and attempts to bypass VyuMee controls.
They apply whether content is public, private, paid, free, temporary, draft, linked from elsewhere, or created using synthetic-media or AI tools.
3. Core rule
You must not use VyuMee to create, upload, request, send, sell, promote, coordinate, facilitate or materially assist unlawful activity, prohibited content, exploitation, fraud, serious threats/harm, or bypassing of VyuMee safety, age, identity, payment, moderation or access controls.
You must not ask or pay another person to do through VyuMee something you could not lawfully or permissibly do yourself.
4. Illegal content and criminal activity
VyuMee prohibits use of the Service to commit, attempt, encourage, assist, facilitate, solicit or coordinate criminal activity, or to distribute content VyuMee reasonably determines must be restricted or removed under applicable law.
This includes content or conduct connected to terrorism; child sexual exploitation/abuse and grooming; sexual exploitation of adults; trafficking; unlawful immigration offences; hate offences; harassment, stalking, threats and abuse; coercive/controlling behaviour; intimate-image abuse; illegal extreme pornography; fraud and financial crime; proceeds of crime; unlawful drugs; unlawful weapons; encouraging or assisting suicide or serious self-harm; unlawful foreign interference; illegal animal cruelty; cyberflashing; and other applicable criminal offences.
Legitimate news, documentary, educational, prevention, recovery, artistic or advocacy discussion is not automatically prohibited. Context matters.
5. Child safety — zero tolerance
You must never create, upload, request, distribute, sell or link to CSAM; sexualise a child; groom or solicit a child; arrange sexual contact involving a child; use generated or altered media to sexualise a child; or help another person locate or conceal child sexual exploitation material.
For this Policy, a child is anyone under 18. Age-ambiguous sexual depictions may be restricted or removed where necessary to protect children. VyuMee may preserve evidence and report matters to competent authorities or specialist bodies where required or permitted by law.
6. Sexual exploitation and non-consensual sexual content
Prohibited everywhere—including any future adult-web area—are sexual content involving anyone under 18; trafficking/coercion; sexual assault presented for sexual gratification; NCII; hidden-camera sexual content or creepshots without consent; cyberflashing; sextortion; threats to publish intimate material; non-consensual sexual deepfakes; deceptive sexual depictions of a real person without verifiable consent; and content lacking required performer age/identity/consent evidence.
Consent to create content is not automatically consent to publish, sell or redistribute it.
7. Harassment, threats and hate
Do not make credible threats, stalk or repeatedly target another person, coordinate harassment, publish personal information to enable harm, glorify violence against protected groups, or continue abusive contact after blocking/restriction. Criticism, disagreement, satire and controversial discussion are not automatically prohibited; VyuMee considers context, severity, repetition and credible risk.
8. Privacy and doxxing
Do not maliciously disclose or trade home addresses, private real-time location, credentials, identity documents, private financial information, private medical records or other highly sensitive non-public information without lawful basis or appropriate consent—particularly where disclosure enables threats, stalking, fraud or harassment.
9. Suicide and serious self-harm
Do not encourage, assist, instruct, pressure or coordinate suicide or serious self-harm, or provide actionable content whose primary purpose is to facilitate it. Supportive discussion, prevention, recovery, lived-experience and responsible educational/journalistic material may be permitted.
10. Terrorism and serious violence
Do not recruit for, materially support, coordinate or facilitate terrorism or other unlawful violent activity, including operational instructions, fundraising or logistical assistance for unlawful terrorist activity. Documentary, journalistic, educational and counter-extremism discussion may be permitted where it does not promote or facilitate unlawful activity.
11. Fraud, scams and impersonation
Do not impersonate people or organisations deceptively, create fabricated identities for fraud/manipulation, operate scams/phishing, request credentials fraudulently, sell fake access, falsify verification evidence, manipulate refunds/chargebacks, launder criminal proceeds or artificially inflate engagement/revenue/programme eligibility.
Parody or fan accounts must not materially mislead users about identity or affiliation.
12. Drugs, weapons and prohibited transactions
Do not unlawfully sell, supply, broker or solicit controlled drugs, unlawful psychoactive substances, firearms/ammunition, unlawfully supplied weapons, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, trafficked persons or other unlawful goods/services. Legitimate news, education, harm-reduction and lawful sporting/hobby discussion may be permitted.
13. Animal cruelty
Content that depicts, promotes, commissions or glorifies illegal animal cruelty is prohibited. Evidential, journalistic, educational or animal-welfare material may be allowed where it can lawfully be hosted and does not encourage cruelty.
14. Intellectual property
Do not upload or sell material without the rights or permissions required. Copyright/trade-mark infringement, counterfeit products, evasion of rights-management controls and repeated reposting of removed infringing material are prohibited.
15. Platform security, malware and spam
Do not attack or overload VyuMee, access accounts/data without authorisation, introduce malware/spyware, exploit vulnerabilities for improper gain, bypass rate limits or moderation, run coordinated fake-account/bot networks, manipulate recommendation/reporting/tier/Founder systems, send bulk deceptive spam, or interfere with audit/safety evidence.
Good-faith security research against production systems requires express written authorisation.
16. Creator and transaction abuse
If monetisation is enabled, purchases/tips/subscriptions/paid messages must be genuine permitted transactions. Sham transactions, unlawful payment concealment, fraudulent chargebacks, prohibited paid content/services, deceptive paid-content descriptions and use of monetisation to incentivise prohibited activity are not allowed.
17. Adult and explicit content boundary
Adult/explicit functionality is disabled during pre-launch. Reference to a future adult capability does not create a right to upload, access or sell explicit content now.
iOS and Android STORE clients
Content classified by VyuMee as WEB_ONLY_ADULT is prohibited from the native STORE clients. The apps must not upload, display, preview, promote, recommend, sell or distribute pornographic/sexually explicit media, explicit previews/audio/metadata, or circumvention links intended to expose STORE users to prohibited explicit material.
This VyuMee rule may be stricter than an app store's minimum allowance in a particular context.
Future WEB-only adult capability
If lawful adult content is later enabled on WEB, it will be subject to the operative Adult Content & Age Assurance Policy, performer age/identity/consent controls, highly effective age assurance where required, moderation, payment-provider requirements and applicable law.
CSAM, exploitation, NCII, trafficking, coercion and other prohibited/illegal sexual content remain banned everywhere.
18. Synthetic, altered and AI-generated media
AI/synthetic media is subject to the same rules. Do not use AI, face swapping, voice cloning or editing to sexualise children, create non-consensual sexual depictions, impersonate people for fraud/harassment/exploitation, fabricate verification/consent evidence, facilitate crime or evade moderation. VyuMee may require provenance, labels, consent evidence or extra review.
19. Dangerous conduct and harmful challenges
VyuMee may restrict content encouraging challenges, stunts or activities with a foreseeable risk of serious physical harm even where not criminal. Professional, sporting, educational or documentary context may be treated differently where unsafe imitation is not encouraged.
20. Circumvention and evasion
Do not disguise prohibited material to defeat moderation, hide it behind paywalls/private messages/external redirects, direct users elsewhere to complete prohibited conduct initiated on VyuMee, create replacement accounts to evade enforcement, or use intermediaries/bots to bypass the rules.
21. Moderation and enforcement
VyuMee may use automated systems, human review and reports from users/third parties. Depending on context and severity, VyuMee may block publication, hold/restrict/remove content, limit distribution or features, require verification, warn, suspend/restrict/terminate accounts, preserve evidence, prevent ban evasion and make legally permitted/required referrals.
A severe single violation may justify immediate action; repeated lower-severity violations may lead to escalating enforcement. VyuMee does not promise to pre-screen every item of content.
22. Reporting concerns
During pre-launch, safety/platform concerns may be sent to support@vyumee.co.uk; formal legal notices may be sent to legal@vyumee.co.uk. Dedicated reporting, appeals, copyright and NCII workflows will be published before corresponding public features are enabled.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service. Do not knowingly submit false or malicious reports.
23. Changes
VyuMee may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Service, law, regulation, safety requirements, app-store rules or operational experience. Material changes will receive reasonable notice where appropriate, and affirmative acceptance will be required where necessary.
